Testicular Pain
Question:

I've been sick lately. I have testicular pain and swelling. The testicle is a bit hard but not red. Is it something to worry about? It's making me sweat and tired. Should I take
medicine and what do you recommend?

Doctor George's reply:

Since when has this been going on? When you touch your scrotum, is it painful? Is the pain elicited intense? Did this occur without any injury to the scrotum? If yes, you might have a severe form of infection called EPIDIDYMITIS, or a cutting off of the blood to the testicle called TESTICULAR TORSION. This is a medical emergency and you should be seen at the ER right away.
